Kwanzaa Introduce
Kwanzaa (Date: December 26 to January 1) is a week-long celebration that honors African heritage in African-American culture. It was created in 1966 by Dr. Maulana Karenga. Each of the seven days is dedicated to one of the seven principles, known as the Nguzo Saba, which include unity, self-determination, and collective work and responsibility. The celebration includes lighting the kinara, sharing meals, and cultural expressions such as music, dance, and storytelling.
